Just got out in Dec, and I've been looking for a job as a technical writer in the RTP area.
I've not had a ton of luck finding anything, and a friend recently suggested trying to find a temp agency to get my foot in the door and get experience for the resume.
Does anyone have any experience with going through a temp agency and if you have, which ones would you recommend? 2/19/2008 2:03:50 PM |

your friend could be right
what are your qualifications that are tech. industry? it must be more than a degree in history - from the technical documents i've seen come from ibm they could use some although not sure if they are hiring 2/19/2008 3:52:24 PM |

not that there arent plenty of tech writing jobs, but i always recommend either looking in more regions or opening up the job description a bit. 2/19/2008 7:30:43 PM |

at least you could make money while looking....theyll work with you to find something to suit your needs if possible 2/21/2008 4:28:41 PM |
