i don't know what you're looking for... but if by chance, you are a the jackleg type and constantly lose and break phones, i'd buy a the cheapest phone there is. i seriously just got ANOTHER new one, and the ONLY "feature" i have is that it's a "flip-phone", so it's kinda small. no camera, only like 4 ring tones. 3 wallpapers... gotta go "online" with it if i want more crap.

total piece of shit compared to the iphone and all that. but it was something like 20 bucks, and they wanted 50 just for the deductable on my insurance, plus like 4 bucks a month for the actual insurance. so i told them to lick my balls and found the cheapest phone i could find that would work with my plan. (JUST re-signed my contract for 24 months right before it broke, and got a free month service, so i couldn't get a free phone, i tried.) i really did it to prove a point. they didn't really get the point, and i have a shitty phone... so i'll probably get a cool phone when the next generation of nextel type stuff comes out, and donate this one to the battered women or whatever they do with donated phones.

well im with suncom but you can get pretty much any phone unlocked

and fortunately enough i havent lost a phone in ever, but i do wear 'em out in like 2 years

it's REALLY easy to unlock (see here: http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=429469)

i got mine for $20 (message_topic.aspx?topic=513924), but they're currently $30 right now

they're quad-band (for use overseas) and support EDGE...they also have bluetooth and a camera if that's your thing

either way, there's a free at&t number for you, a SIM card with 10 free minutes on it, and you get a phone...technically, they're refurbished, but mine looks completely new (smells new, too!)

If you can find one unlocked, look at the AT&T Tilt. (It's made by HTC but I'm not sure of the model #) Windows Mobile 6, nice piece of equipment. It's kind of like my phone (HTC-6800, aka Sprint Mogul) on steroids.
