It's worth it for all-you-can-eat popcorn chicken and those interesting brownie/cookie things, but that's about it.

^hating on cafeteria food is so high school...

No it isn't the best stuff in Raleigh, but seriously you try to cook for hundreds of people everyday.

I miss the dining hall just a little bit. Which is weird because the vegetarian selection was horrible.

My roommate once stole a chair from Fountain.

Then our RD got on his case and had to return it.

That same year, I didn't have a meal plan, so I had a systematic network of people sneaking me fruits and veggies and milk. In return, I took out their trash and recycling. That was the best year of my college career. *Tear.*

i stole 8 sets of dishes and silverware...it was when they were in the process of switching from those speckled beige/brown dishes to whatever it is they have now

8 large plates
8 small plates
8 soup bowls
8 small bowls
8 glasses
8 forks
8 spoons (didn't get soup spoons)
8 knives

i use them in my apartment to this day...they do NOT heat up in the microwave very well

do you work for nc state?

state employees can just use their cards and it takes it out of your paycheck

you gotta register though, and they've made sure that it's a hassle as you have to fill out a form and drop it off or mail it

You can eat at McDonalds or BK for 2 or 3 meals for the price of one meal at the dining hall.

well if you go thru the fast food part its not but you can get a salad and a couple of veggies and lean meat from the hot bar most days (at Clark atleast)

and there was always bananas, apples, oranges where the condiments are. I used to take a freakin boatload of bananas out when i left.

I graduated in '05 so it may be different now I suppose...

I don't care what anyone says, I didn't think the dining halls were ever as bad as everyone claimed. The pizza at Clark sucked though.

the dining hall really isn't that bad. Fountain's food is okay, however Clark is so much better.
