Some of these kids are idiots.

"Is North Carolina considered a southern state?"
"Yes."
"Why? It has "North" in the name!"

More to come...

NORTH CAROLINA SWITCHED FROM THE UNION TO THE CONFEDERATE STATES OF AMERICA DURING THE CIVIL WAR. THE CSA REDNECKS WOULD NOT FORGIVE NORTH CAROLINA FOR THE SWITCHOVER AND THUS REFERRED TO US AS THE "OLD NORTH STATE"

Other than that, North vs. South is really just the mundane way colonists knew to distinguish between three straight lines dead-ending at the mountain range.

someone i know that goes to wake tech recently (like a few months ago) tried to explain to me some top secret information about the war. he told me he finally figured out the problem. and did i know that there are two different groups of muslims that don't get along. one is called sunni and one is called shiite.

it was a revolutionary covo. it just opened my eyes to so much.

Sometimes I wish I would have gone to community college and become a valedictorian of 4 or 5 different majors in 1.5 years.

I wanna hear some "isms" from the subpar community college kids: enlistees.

I don't think my school does valedictorians. There's probably a crapload of people graduating with 4.0 gpas, because I know of people who will drop a class 3 weeks before the semester ends if they're not gonna get an A. Plus there's no +/- grading system so the gpas wouldn't really be as precise.

I used to belittle community college classes... and then people I worked with back in the day yelled at me b/c that was their education... so I stopped picking at it...

until I took community college classes over the summer and witnessed first hand the teacher actually stopping class every time a big word was used in the reading to let everybody know what it meant...

I mean, stuff was more spoon fed than High School... I have a proud 4.0 average at Cape Fear Community college... However one of the 2 professors that I took was a PhD from duke who taught there b/c he wanted to surf... really awesome guy.

I never really got an isms during my trip through Durham Tech. The people in my classes were decently smart, apparently not the norm.
