Do you think that Obama will ask his followers to start calling him something like the exalted one, fuhrer, or maybe god? I bet that if he asked them to call him god, they would do it.
but hillary is a bitch. I really wish that Obama had a more responsible economic plan because I would love to vote for the guy...but I just can't right now.

It's sad that folks are so easily brainwashed. Not by Obama and his attempts to uplift but by people who spout out this week's talking points and memes like a little parrot and who'd rather paint hope and inspiration as dangerous fanaticism because they want their guy elected instead. 2/22/2008 1:10:51 AM |

Sputter that last point was pretty much laughable. Come to the table with something significant next time. Good lord son.
Your deconstruction of Barack is bullshit and you know it.....in fact, keep an eye on the articles this weekend so you'll get more cannon fodder crap to hurl at Barack in the attempt to find something not to like about him.

Why does my reasoning for disliking him, which I never said I did, have to be any more valid than your reasons for liking him?
All you guys ever do is call people names that disagree with you. At least I wasn't doing that and truthfully I wasn't ever disagreeing with you.
I know that calling others names and attempting to assert some authority through name calling is rule number 1 in the Democratic playbook (see hillary v obama), but to somehow believe that you are in any way effectuating logic anywhere in this thread is ridiculous. This thread is all bullshitting and if you weren't a "panties in a wad Obama lover", you would see that
It only reinforces the stereotype that other's hold about Obama followers.
Lastly, it's not so much that I don't like Obama as much as it is that I don't like his supporters. I haven't even attempted anywhere in this thread to deconstruct Barack, if I was I would start with his unsupportable economic policies. I was just in here to make fun of Hillary and the well documented near occultism that surrounds Barack, but you Obamanians are too sensitive and had to get all uproarious.
I have one word for you: pathetic

What the fuck? Calling people names? Don't whip that argument out on me because logically I'll beat you at it. I've heard my libertarian friend accuse all his democrat buddies about that, and it's a talk radio favorite....but before you make that accusation lets look at the facts and see who actually crossed that line here:
All I said (and I quote) was:
your line of thinking was 'loser tactic'. Which I think it is as evidence by your quotes....it is the tactics of someone who is behind and losing in these primaries and grasping at straws. The arguments about Barack that attack his [fringe] supporters as a cult is just an asinine and blanket rip. Note that I never called you a loser, nor would I....just this tactic which is unfair.
"Right wingers and Hillary supporters' - again, no name calling whatsoever.
No where else did I call you any particular name. -----------------------------------
But guess who decided to take it to that level? You did multiple times so now you're being hypocritical:
'panties in a wad obama lover' 'obamanians' - the summation and holistic identifier of 'pathetic'

See this is definitely a question for me. The answer is no. It should remain "he" and "him" for Obama is a lesser god. In the Obama-verse I think the capital letters might be reserved for Michelle.
Incidentally, anybody else get the impression that she is only hurting his campaign. And I don't even mean to reference the recent stupid anti-American remark. Its just a more general observation. If you have an uber-cool rockstar type then the wife on tour is not typically a plus. I envision the Obama chilling batchelor style on his tour bus filled with his favorite brand of cigarette smoke, some 70's style furniture and a gaggle of sycophantic groupies sitting around chanting "YES WE CAN"2/22/2008 8:46:51 PM |

It may be just be, but I find it's the Obama haters that keep referencing him as a god far more than his supporters. And I think that's actually helping him out more, because it makes people who may not have taken him seriously wonder why people think he's like a religious leader. 2/23/2008 12:02:52 AM |
