I use mine and love it. I think I get this from my father, but I don't really like using outlook, blackberries, or other electronics for storing dates/meetings/contacts.

I do use my outlook contact database quite a bit, but i'm more apt to reach over to my rolodex and pull the person's file/business card. same goes with planning dates. I always write it down on my desk calendar or in my daytimer thing.

So that being said, who still catalogs with a rolodex? Mine is filling out quite nicely. I've been thinking of buying a new one with business card sleeves.

my pop has a binder with business card sleeves full of contacts divided into different industries/concentrations. almost like a baseball card collection. its pretty rad.

mine's not big enough yet to be a binder. I still have one of those smaller leather card holders w/ about 80 plastic sleeves. I've got about 70 cards in there, so I'll need to start thinking about expanding in the near future.

I've tried using Outlook and Google for calendaring and address book. The only thing I use the address book for is so I can easily email someone. The calendar, I just can't seem to get it the way I want, so I stick with paper.

I also don't think I would like a Blackberry or any other portable device. I hate cell phones enough as it is.

i use a daytimer. i would die without it. i'm forgetful. if i planned everything on my computer i'd forget to check it. atleast with a daytimer its like always with me (sometimes i still forget to look in it).

this from a guy who can text one handed while driving and not look down at the phone.

( i think it was you that baffled me with that )

Btw i use a real calender... but my phone syncs with outlook so i like the numbers and e-mail addresses from there to be in my phone so thats what i use

^me?? hahaha yes i definitely can. personal text is different, i love that. but i like to leave work at the office.

my industry is very nextel reliant. especially when dealing with field operations and suppliers. heavily email when dealing with general contractors, distributors, etc. I couldn't ever use a blackberry or something with email notification. Sometimes its nice to just get out and visit a jobsite or take an hour for lunch w/o having beeps every 10 minutes for emails. I've been out to eat with people who have spent more time staring and texting business related emails than they did talking with us.

but to digress, yeah i don't like the layout and function of the outlook calendar. would rather just write it down

i hope you got those tickets from work

For a shitty team like the kings, you shouldn't have to pay more than 1/3 face

I'm not going tonight but you'll definitely be able to get the 300 dollar seats right near the court for well under 100 each

i would never pay for them, but its something fun to do every now and then.
