I have a 2000 grand am gt v6 leaking power steering fluid..actually quite quickly. From my research online it looks like its probably either the high pressure hose or the pump.. Any suggestiosn as to where to take it that i can get it fixed for a reasonable cost?

if you can, get some brakeclean or something and spray alll around where it leaks, so you can see exactly where its leaking from.
i would say power wash it, but water restrictions suck. 2/23/2008 9:55:54 AM |

if its a high pressure leak, top off the resivoir, start the car and have a lovely assistant turn the wheel all the way to one side. you will instantly be able to figure out where the leak is. 2/23/2008 2:28:06 PM |

I know a good mechanic in Raleigh I could refer you to who has dealt with these leaks plenty of times. Let me know if you are interested. 2/23/2008 7:55:30 PM |
