That truck has a lot of potential.

Too bad we do not have a clue what the seller wants for it.

If you look at the hubs on the front it looks like it probably is.

Or things like what engine, 4x4 or not (yes, the front hubs do point toward it), what problems it has, what year it is (I can narrow it down to '58-'60 but not sure between those three...)

Actually it's got a '60 hood and a '59 grille, so pretty much impossible to visually ID the year. Maybe the original poster will come back and tell us?

it's definitely 4wd (59 was the first year from the factory fyi, there were aftermarket conversions before that though). i'll also wager it's definitely a 59 with a 60 hood judging from the lower panel and square turn/parking lights.

Well that's random.

I'm surprised the wheelbase matches that well...

uhhh... what? no such thing.

that's also definitely not a waggy d44 on the front. that axle has external hubs, waggy's had internal.

my guess would be that it's actually an older wagoneer chassis. that or it's only the frame from a late 80's.

the 304 was never offered in the big jeeps. it could have been swapped in easily though. the only amc motors were 258/327/360/401. there was a buick 350 offered for a short time, but that's a pretty rare bird. if it is indeed a stock late 80's chassis, it's a 360 v8.

the front axle also does not appear to be from any 74-91 wagoneer. they all had internal style hubs, thought there were other changes. the ones on that truck are very clearly external hubs. which is what older dana 44's had, so it could be from a pre 74 fsj or something.

give us some more pics of the mechanicals and i can quit speculating and tell you what is what.

I am really curious to know more about it.
Miles on the engine? When was it rebuilt...if it was?
Miles since the tranny rebuilt or replaced?
Suspension?
How is the overall running condition?
