Does anyone have recommendations for history teachers, or even recommendations for which history class to take? I'm really not into this subject!

I had Booker for 252 during freshman year. We had couple of papers and reasonable amount of reading for the class. He had some good alternative perspectives on some of the same stuff you've heard in high school. He was very good at leading discussions as well.

HI322 with Kimler was a very good class as well if you're interested in science. Kimler is probably the best prof I've had at State.

all i know about the history dept. is that i had ross bassett for HI 341 and i'd die if i had to listen to him stutter for another 50 minutes

HI 205 Western Civilization Since 1400 with Dustan is a pretty good class if you don't mind getting up early.

I'm in HI 252 with Pruden right now. She is nice women and really knows her stuff. The material is kind of dull but if you pay attention and take notes on your laptop while she talks, the test is easy. We just got our first test back tonight and the average was 85. The only homework is one essay that you choose out of three.

took 252 over the summer with Caddell. Really slack class, AMAZING professor. Was at 8 am and no one ever fell asleep in class because he was so interesting.

^ I second that. Caddel is a great teacher and his class was a piece of cake as well. I once fell asleep during his class but that was because I was up all night not because of him

I took 205 with Pumphrey, she was fucking hilarious.

I also echo taking Kimler for 322, he's easily one of the best professors I've ever had.
