anybody else excited about their first studio album in 7 years? i like the single (Goodbye Daughters of the Revolution). you can hear it when you load up their website http://www.blackcrowes.com this means they should have a huge tour coming soon to promote the album

on a related note, MAXIM magazine is generating some attention because of the feathers they ruffled. they gave a review in their March edition, although they had never heard the album. gave it 2.5 out of 5 stars. the Black Crowes manager is pissed and is demanding an apology.

Bought it today and really like it. I think it is a big step up from their last 2 albums. If you want another Shake Your Money Maker, this isn't it but thats not really what the Black Crowes are about today. But it is a great roots type rock record. Can't wait for the tour.

It was disappointing, after all the hype.

Of course, I liked Lions, and was hoping for something like that.

sounds like Chris took clippings of all of his old song lyrics and rearranged them in order to write this album


a few of the songs are laid out in story form, and the stories have been done before....MANY times over
