No really, I haven't been paying attention cause I don't handle my own taxes nor do I pay attention to the promise of 'free' money until I have it in my hand so what's the deal with this refund?

hookers and blow.

I would hope that anyone with debt would put that refund towards their debt. But I forget most Americans are retarded when it comes to finances.

i dont know why everyone loves refunds so much, it just means you're paying too much in tax and the gov't is keeping your money interest free for 12 months.

that aside, i'm either gonna buy a gun or just stick it in savings. same goes with that rebate deal when it comes

EXACTLY. That's almost as bad as one of those hideous D&B bags. Marc Jacobs would be such a better choice. Or even Michael Kors.

^that's really not something to smile about. It means the government is taking way too much of your money and holding it interest free.

6 months of work is roughly 24 weeks (we'll keep weekends in for now). 3600/24weeks = $150 extra dollars per week the government held from you interest free. that's pretty shitty

I like them to withhold the maximum so that I never have to pay anything out of pocket, even if I have to sacrifice 3% of $3,500.

this thread would have been more successful and less stupid and confusing if you had titled it

what are you going to spend your economic stimulus rebate on?

also it would have kept a bunch of clark howard wannabe motherfuckers from bursting in here to tell you that you were dumb for giving the government an extra 10 dollars from your paycheck!!111
