If a snake ate one of my dogs, it wouldn't be in a zoo or released anywhere. I have enough problems with chicken snakes trying to eat bitties. I killed 2 or 3 last year before it got cold.

If a snake ate my dog, I would skin it alive, set it on fire and then hang it in my backyard as a warning to any other snake/animal that had the same idea. I can only hope the snake would at least be alive for a good hour before it slowly and painfully died.

must have been horrifying for the children.
however, the people had warning, and they could have done something about it first. I guess they were thinking, oh it won't happen to our dog.
