seriously 1bout 1.5 inches closer to my eye, i (no joke) think i would have gouged my eye out

start putting ice on it now to reduce the swelling and bruising. i would say you're probably looking at a few more minutes before you see bruising. if you keep ice on it for the next 3-6 hours the bruising probably wont get much worse. it will probably look worse tomorrow and the next day but it should heal faster if you keep ice on it and take some tylenol.
