Cook Out is based and operated in NC. So, Rocky Mount would have been your best bet. 2/29/2008 3:34:08 PM |

I don't know of many food places in between, I usually didn't stop for food.
Only places I've stopped were Bojangles or McDonalds/Burger King.

That link above doesn't list all the cookouts, so you might be in luck (as in there may be one on 95 that's not on the map)... The one on Western isn't listed. 2/29/2008 4:14:56 PM |

I'm pretty sure the one in Rocky Mount is open now, and there's not another one north of there. (I'm from Roanoke Rapids, I go through there about once every two weeks.) 2/29/2008 4:39:07 PM |

who else thinks that a Cook-Out just off the Roanoke Rapids exit on I-95 would be money in the bank?
hell, they should put a Cook-Out in the rest area just across the NC/VA line
