All of these printers are in good shape, and include a good working toner. Great for dorms or home office type work.

does the 4100N print front and back w/o having to place the paper back in the tray?

that is called duplexing
since it's the 4100N and not the 4100DTN, then no.

^Correct. The 2200, however, does print dual-sided.
