Mine must suck cause it doesn't give me a time.

The battery life on this one sucks though, where do you buy laptop batteries?

just opened the game 'second life' for about 5-10 min

ps, shawna, do you use xp? it might be a vista "feature" - vista is likely the liar actually. its awful at telling you how long something will take to copy as well.

i got a Dell Inspiron 1525 about a month ago, and my battery will last about 5hrs before it completely shuts off. but there's a couple different settings i can change, so that it doesn't use as much power to run the laptop, making it last longer than that.

and the warning thing is on. plugging it in so i dont go into hibernate and grind my drive out. har har

results: it started by saying i had 2:15 left with pretty much a full battery. half that time later, it was at 24% (now 22), with only 20 minutes left. so at best, 2:15 really = 1:30. and likely 1:25.

so a full battery lasts an hour and a half. awesome. maybe i have a ghost in my house that drains my battery in an attempt to manifest!!1
