I've done the same for cars in several states.... might as well. Just be ready to leave if you aren't happy with the car and/or it isn't as described.

yeah, in all seriousness i'll be avoiding kansas. been there, done that. easily the most miserable state out of the 38 i've driven in. 24 hours from vail is making pretty damn good time.

we only stopped for gas

and most times we were switching driver/passenger at speed on the highway (no cars around to be safe)

no, they did away with the no speed limit thing. however, it's such a rural state you'd have to try pretty hard to get a ticket in most places. it is definitely a beautiful state to drive through. so is wyoming.

speeding in montana less than 35 over is still just a 5 dollar citation though. but you do get points on the insurance.

not at all, it's very smooth unless you find a soft spot that someone has drive through or something. especially the actual "track", which is checked and groomed each spring when it's first setup then again during the two major events. however, the salt sticks to EVERYTHING. really annoying stuff. it reminded me a lot of nc red clay in how it plasters to your shoes, tires, undercarriage, etc.

it can also be very wet/soft until in the spring/summer because of more rain and lower temps in the fall/winter. it's not uncommon for people to get stuck in some areas, especially heavier vehicles. like these guys, at the entrance to an ohv/orv area about 25 miles from bonneville (similar surface):

Sigh, I don't understand why people do this. I mean you're saving yourself 1, 2 minutes of travel time tops.

Ivan, what car did you hit 105 in, by the dash I'm guessing a domestic of some sort. And come on man, taking a photo of a speedo going 105. Knowing you I'd expect the 0 and 5 to be in different positions, lol.

check the vid in the link above the picture, it was a jeep liberty. it hit the speed limiter around 106-108. i doubt it would have done much better than 110-115 anyway though, it took a good mile to get from 95-105.

is this better??
