I saw one of these things at borders the other day. I knew they were around and I know amazon makes one but it was the first time I actually saw one in person.

From what I've read it seems like there could be some better features. Like maybe the next generation or after that would be much better.

But from the little I used it I thought it was pretty good. Especially considering the intended purpose (I think it would be an overall better product if the scope expanded beyond just reading books) but I wanted to know if anyone here has one or has used one extensively. How do PDFs look on them? Pros, cons, etc..

Amazon Kindle vs the Sony one? I know Amazon has the Whispernet service but is there anything beyond that which makes it stand out over the Sony reader?

not positive, but upper 200's I think. Probably close to 300 considering that's what they are on the internet.
