that i got from the doctor to cure this nagging chest cold i've had.

thing is, i've about beat it and not sure if i should take them.

so t-dub...should i take the z-pack and kill the cold and also have extra reassurance that i'm also STD free (since the anzithromycin kills gonnorhea, chlamydia, etc.) even though i'm postive i'm clean.


or should i save it for the next time i get sick?

I had a bad case of bronchitis early feb. I started feeling better so I said fuck it.

Sonuvabitch came back, with a vengeance. I've now had this bronchitis for a fucking month. Back on the antibiotics, finished the first prescription, then they prescribed another one.

Better to firebomb that shit to hell than take a chance.

I would save the Z Pack because I like being able to take worthwhile meds when I have the first signs of sickness (ie: swollen lymph nodes) especially when final exams are approaching.

i have a z-pack that i never picked up. and i lived. after my battle with fucking impetaigo (sp?) a few years back and having to go back and try 4 antibiotics before it would die.

i swear to god i thought i had some crazy flesh eating bacteria that was misdiagnosed. i went to the hospital twice before i found a doctor who luckily researched skin bacteria or whatever in his spare time. and he prescribed me 20 tabs of something i'd never heard of. apparantly one of the ones they rarely use and save for emergency.

after about 3 weeks of total hell and this infection thing, 4 doses of that shit had it 80% cured. after that i made damn sure to take the whole course of the antibiotics and i have decided never to use them again unless i am scared for my life.

it was prescribed a precautionary to take next week if my cough remained. the original rx, which was to help break up the bacterial infection in my chest has worked. i feel about 90% today.
