i like the concept but i wish he hadn't threatened to name hip hop is dead this originally, mightve made a better impact if it had come out of nowhere and followed through. sure it fuels the fire for the talking heads but at the same time its a great coup for the "artist" in general to be able to force this through. i guess there's always the angle that maybe the record label is authorizing it because controversy sells, but i like to think the rebel to america found a way to buck the system and just do the album that way anyways...FUCK THE HATERS, B!
