shit like this is why i am so paranoid about the legal system. all the cops have to do is get a charge up against you, and the jury is gonna convict your ass without even looking at the evidence. this guy got convicted before they even said who he was.

its really scary how many people are like this guy. and its really amazing that any jury ever comes back with a not guilty verdict. after all, he was on the news!

if you wanna play technical, he's "innocent until proven guilty" - and he wasn't proven guilty, therefore he is (and always has been) innocent.

he's both. there's no difference legally. if there were an "innocent" verdict, you'd have a point. like if they had 3 possible verdicts, and they said you're either:

guilty - proof beyond a reasonable doubt that you did it
innocent - proof beyond a reasonable doubt that you didn't do it
not guilty - anything in between. could be either, but the law requires proof beyond any reasonable doubt

it would be interesting if they added that. but it doesnt exist. so you can't go saying that he isn't innocent... cause if that's the case then if youve been charged with a crime, you're not innocent, no matter what the jury says. and thats just ridiculous

once again i'd like to say that i think its a tragedy that the girl was killed, and i hope that her killer(s) get(s) punished. i just also happen to hope that anyone charged with murder gets a fair trial. cause that's a really big deal. i know its easy to say "oh they've been arrested before" and blah blah but that doesn't mean they're killers. it doesn't mean they're not, either.

they deserve the chance to defend themselves against the charges. their lives are on the line now, and even if you think that their lives are worthless compared to the girl who died, they aren't.

its that simple, i'm not trying to argue that they are innocent. just pointing out that they are right now. i hope people understand that. im not fucking crazy

I can have an opinion. I can say if I think the dude is guilty or not. of course, my opinion doesn't mean jack shit, b/c I'm not on the jury, not the judge, and not involved in the case.

sure, guilty until proven innnocent is important, and should be upheld in court; but that doesn't mean I can't voice my opinion, and at times, look like an ass doing so.

so get down there to the courthouse, preach that shit to them; b/c I have free speech, and will voice my opinion, and I think the bastards are guilty, and I think they should fry. and if they didn't do, gg to them, let the cops go find the guys that did do it, and then fry them bastards.
