Old thread was dead, but there is a new episode tonight after Smallville. That is a pretty crappy timeslot to put it in though since it will be competing with Lost. DVR ftw.

TV Squad compared it to Buffy last week. Buffy came out on top, but they said for a 1st season it was really good.

yeah, we were all wondering why no one was really that bummed (especially his mom) about him being buried alive. i'm glad that there are guys from the state on the show. makes it so much more appealing.

Season finally picked up in those final seven-eight episodes with much needed extra plots and carryover baddies instead of the revolving baddie of the week trend the show started off on.

And the ending was strange with everyone being so nonchalant about Sam's father dying but it made a little more sense seeing that he might still be "alive."
