I always knew it was a little true, but in this case it most DEFINITELY is! my office has a table reserved at a bar tomorrow at noon to start watching the game.
Apparently I'm surrounded by diehard Tarholes...d'oh! 3/13/2008 10:36:54 AM |

I used to work at a place where people straight up refused to work and they sat in the break room and watched games and yelled and cooked smelly fish. If I was in a position to do so I would have fired every one of their stupid asses and hired people that are smart enough to know that sports are fucking lame as shit. 3/13/2008 10:39:02 AM |

^Oh, I'm sure you'll go far in life with that attitude.
No one really likes sports anyways. 3/13/2008 10:45:22 AM |

I wish there was a tv at my place of work...but there isn't.
I remember in high school we'd be sitting in class with the tourny on the tv in the background so we could watch it. If the game ever got too exciting we'd turn up the volume and forget about geometry or us history! 3/13/2008 11:01:39 AM |

I love it...you know you grew up in North Carolina if your thursday, friday, saturday, and sunday are planned around the ACC B-Ball Tourny, and when you pastor cuts the sermon super short on sunday so you can get home in time for the big game. 3/13/2008 11:06:08 AM |

Um, pretty sure the whole city is shutting down for the ACC tourney...since it's here and all.
I know in my office I'll be at the game and the others are watching it in the office. Only the secretary is uninterested/will be working.
So that's 7 out of 8 people in the office that basically aren't working today and tomorrow. 3/13/2008 11:06:37 AM |
