the roaches are feeders (turkish red runners and madagascar hissers). the grubs are the [pet] offspring of a breeding pair from last year (dynates tityus, eastern rhino beetles).

i feed in shifts. the babies get fed once a week, usually wednesday night. i feed the larger subadults and adults every couple weeks on a different day.

I mean, I like walking through the scorpion/tarantula/whatever part of the pet store, but I walk quickly and then feel like I need to take a shower or something just to make sure there are no icky things on me. I can't imagine hanging out next to that many of them.

The tarantulas don't really bother me.

It's the thought of a giant tub of roaches that creeps me out.

Also, hopefully those shelves are anchored to the wall, it could possibly suck if one of them tipped over.
