I thought they just used a 12 year rotation where every team sits out once. The Big Ten sat out some of their top teams when the ACC had 9 teams. Isn't it supposed to loosely be based on who is picked to finish where (1v1, 2v2, etc) while keeping a home & away rotation?

"What teams in America would NOT have Greg Paulus starting in their backcourt!" Saying it like Duke is SOOOO GOOOODDD in the backcourt that it is unbelievable he isn't playing. This just in, Paulus is a fucking horrid PG. Yes, he can shoot.. but so can 100s of guys around the country. Some of them can even play defense.

UConn - Price, Dyson, Walker
UNC - Ellington, Lawson
Syracuse - Devendorf, Flynn
Marquette - Matthews, McNeal, James, Cubillan
UCLA - Collison, Holliday
Villanova - Reynolds, Fisher, Stokes, Redding
Notre Dame - McAlrney, Jackson, Ayers

Those are teams off the VERY top of my head on which Paulus would certainly not start. On UConn, Marquette, UNC, Nova and ND he'd probably be no better than 4th on the depth chart.

Purdue is a joke of a Top 10 team from what I've seen this year. They have been underwhelming to say the least. Duke is good, but this isn't as good a win as it might look... Big 10 is a joke so they'll do fine in their conference.

Eh, Vitale does that all the time and it isn't exclusive to UNC/Duke. He will ALWAYS find a way to mention Duke, UNC, UConn and Syracuse (he has a serious mancrush on Boeheim) during every broadcast. Just the way it is...
