don't know anything about hallen
are you taking N or M? in my experience N is easier. take Richard Patty if he's teaching. he puts the concepts in plain english and his tests are extremely fair. 3/19/2008 12:57:01 PM |

Ah the great M vs. N debate. My friend swears M is significantly easier, but the only thing he looks at is grade distributions...
I've heard good things about Patty, might try to take it with him next semester. 3/19/2008 1:15:02 PM |

Didn't they make M 'harder' two or so years ago? 3/19/2008 1:18:09 PM |

i got a friend who took 205M and is in 208M right now, they use vectors alot and it looks a lil more difficult to me, but i'm not in it and the grade distributions do look better 3/19/2008 2:00:43 PM |

chabay is a wonderful professor. the book is a great study aid, and as far as I know, isn't on cramster but you shouldn't need it as most of the webassign problems can be found as examples in the text.
i'm in the class now so if you decide to take it and need the book (208M) PM me. 4/8/2008 10:07:34 AM |
