We should totally agree to one of these. Then when the online war begins, we bomb the shit out of the arena the "war gamers" are in.

Eventually the military will develop gun toting robots that can be remotely controlled via a counter-strike like interface. America's enemies will then be vanquished by Cheeto eating, trash talking 12-year-olds who have nothing better to do than read counter-terrorism manuals in an effort to up their kill-to-death ratio. Personally, I'm waiting for the YouTube video of some automated death machine tea bagging a bullet riddled terrorist corpse.

Lest we forget... they give up only when we kill off all who wish to fight. Not our fault we're more efficient at it.

This is the point of war. War extracts victory by eliminating the will to resist in one party or the other. Like GGMon said, a government isn't going to capitulate simply "because some euro trash fucktard is better at halo 3."

It would never work.

Some random small country: Hahaha, we pwnt you.
China: Okay so you beat us in Command and Conquer. We are going to open up our gates and let you take over our country even though we have more soldiers, more technology, and more money then you.

no guys, obviously they would start the game with proportional amount of military equipment and soldiers as they have in real life

why go through with actual killing when it can all be virtual

I think it should be more Ender's Game-ish, like a previous poster said.
