a sterile smell...reminds me also of some hospitals I have been in.

^^^^Might be one of those things that smells very different to different people. Cilantro and cianide are examples where some people either can't smell/taste the compound or smell/taste it as something completely different. Like how some people taste cilantro as soap.

And for me my favorite wierd smell is north-eastern old-growth forest. Smells kind of like dead leaves and mushrooms, but I get nostalgic when I smell it.

My aunt would make canned asparagus with catchup and chocolate sauce and just smell the bowl full of that nasty shit. She'd do that for like 10 minutes before wolfing it down. Nasty stuff.

When I hold my tongue a certain way and exhale through my mouth, it produces a flavor similar to blowing up inflatable toys/air mattresses/etc. I enjoy it.

^^^ Haha, I'm just playing. I think most people smell the various gunks, sheddings, etc. they remove from their bodies every now and then. It's probably some adaptation that allowed people to recognize fungal infection sooner. That or we're just strange compulsive smellers.

^As gross as that sounds, how much do you want to bet that some of the same bacteria and microbes that make toe-cheese are also found in some more powerful real-cheeses? Sure, not the same species, but that's like the difference between authentic parmesean cheese and paremesean-style cheese produced in the US.
