apparently I have something called the unknown trojan virus.
"youy computer was infected by unknown trojan" message keeps popping up, and it wants me to download some movover : (

anyone know how to remove this thing?

define "it" in "it wants me to download some movover"

is "it" your antivirus program? or an internet pop-up disguised to tell you what to do?

if you don't have an antivirus program and you're getting that message, get spybot search and destroy and run a scan

if that is your antivirus program telling you that, it sucks - it should be able to remove the trojan for you or take you to a trusted domain like symantec's with step-by-step instructions on how to do it manually. may need to go to http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ and run the online virus scan to make sure

^ definitely spyware of some sort. try either windows defender or spybot search & destroy.

if it gets worse or that doesnt fix it pick a highjackthis forum and go through their perscribed stuff, if that doesnt help make a post in one of their help bits, they are really good, but sometimes not very fast at getting back to you (3-5 days)
