St. John Arena (tOSU's old court) is now the permanent home to their volleyball program (as well as their gymnastics and wrestling programs). The paint is obviously there for volleyball purposes. I believe this past year they had a "Heritage" like game similar to ours in which they went back to the old gym for one game, and the court was normal. They would have probably been able to make the corrections to the court had it not been on such short notice. I'm guessing Value City Arena at the Jerome Schottenstein Center (i'm not joking that is the name of their arena) was booked and they had to move the game to St. John Arena, similar to how we had to move our NIT game to Reynolds b/c there was a concert going on at the RBC Center.

St. John Arena is where tOSU holds their famous Skull Session tradition, which is held before each home football game. That was a great, old arena. It used to get very loud in there. If you notice the upper decks hang over the lower bowl a lot, so the noise is more funneled to the court unlike at the The Schott, which has a big lower bowl that pushes the upper decks back a good bit. Anyone that complains about the RBC Center name should be directed to tOSU's arena. That name is absolutely terrible.
