Boone, NC is the 2nd easiest place in the whole country to get pot. So unless you live in Berkley, I don't really see how it is much better than NC.

It might make it harder for a short amount of time, but the regional consumption is far higher than that. Going with an average 1% of the population smoking 50 dollars of pot a week (under-estimation) and 2 million possible smokers in the triangle- that's $1 million a week. Estimates on % of population being "regular" users is between 4 and 10% but that includes monthly users. Yeah MY estimate is very rough, but I think it's reasonable to believe 250k is a drop on the bucket and might result in minor annoyance for pot heads for a few days or maybe a week.

2 million possible- assuming 1% actually are. If there were 2 million smokers here at 50 a week I don't see how you could get 1 million. Math- use it. And yes, if you add up orange county, wake county, and durham county you get a mere 1.2 million. Considering I assumed insanely low useage numbers, I think that still keeps my estimate within the right order of magnitude. Point is- this represents a fraction (well less than half) of the probable WEEKLY consumption of this region. It'll get replenished fast.
