Given the awful results that the GOP have brought about in the past 8 years and your dogged, blind, loyal devotion to them as a party and political machine, how is it that any of you are patriotic?

Yeah, that's right. I'm demanding you defend your patriotism. I'm demanding you defend your love for this country and your love of "freedom" given the gradual erosion of our freedoms and the swift erosion of greatness that America once had. If you're American Patriots, why is it that you strive for policies, parties, and philosophies that have demonstrably ruined the United States?

How are you not the biggest traitors of all?

I consider myself a moderate progressive (what used to be called a Third Way Democrat)...that just so happens to care what happens to the people in Iraq after we fucked up their country. Sorry if that makes me part of the Evil Empire.

I've yet to understand why TreeTwista10 posts. He ususally gets in an argument, yells at some people, takes everything too personally, then absolves himself by saying he participates in absolutely no part of the political process.

It is like he is the quintessential defender of the right to be angry while supporting the status quo and do absolutely nothing about it but bitch on the internet.

not a neo con, or even a republican and def. dont defend what they have done.

but what about the democrats? where they not in Congress and voting for these laws too? when congress was circumvented by the president why werent they standing up and making it a huge deal about it? Hasnt congress had democratic control for the past year or so?
The Partisan blame game is partly why this country cant get anything done
The Blame for our countries current descent into shittiness cant be blamed on just one party, they were both involved.

Also it wont matter who you vote for this November. not much is gonna change
