I wonder why he chose UA though. He's from Compton and went to the same high school as Mayo. UCLA already has two 5* PG commits for 08, but why he didn't wanna go to $C is beyond me.

It was down to UConn and UA. He played AAU under Marcus Williams' uncle and most thought he would eventually end up at UConn because of that... I'm glad he didn't since he'll be one and done. UConn signed another McD's AA in his place, Kemba Walker, who looks like he is going to be pretty special...

Mayo went to H.S. in West Virginia, didn't he?

The announcers said he wanted to go there because they have had so much success developing point guards (Gilbert Arenas, Mike Bibby, Damon Stoudamire, Jason Terry).
