why do you want to benchmark how your tenants live?

please give me a non creepy answer. i'd understand if you were asking questions about a neighborhood you just bought in, trying to see if you wanted to include utilities in the rent. but this is weird

this is about measuring utilities cost and how i should price rent. for simplicity, i'd like to charge them a flat rate that includes all utilities.

thats what i was saying in my post. when i moved into my place, i got flat rate utilities based on the use from previous years. can't you get that info from the different companies?

id definitely not set a rate without knowing for sure. 100-150 bucks difference can really fuck you. but you obviously know that. call the power company. my bills have actually been lower than what the power company average was
