anyone know anything about 221 with dupont, im debating whether or not i should take 221 this coming fall or wait until the spring?

If you take 221 in the Fall take it with Novak. I had Dupont for it at first, but I dropped it immediately after the first class. He is very boring. I haven't heard great things about him. I HIGHLY recommend Novak. He is the best teacher I have ever had at NCSU. The material is hard but he teaches it so well. He is also always there for his students. He answers emails really quickly and always has a lot of office hours to accommodate every student! TAKE HIM

I have Dupont now for 221...I had Sandberg first...she was an awesome teacher, I'm just Chem retarded.

He's okay...massive curve equals awesome!!


I had a 51 on the second test and got a C with the curve....

if you can try and take it in the fall. Novak only teaches 221 in the fall and 223 in the spring. He is amazing.

i liked dupont.

his lectures can be a little dry, but he is uber helpful if you talk to him after class or at office hours.

and thats the most interesting part of his lecture. the test curves are like 20 points though
