I also want to know if a queen size bed would be too big...I know it's only 6 inches bigger than a full size bed, but I got someone willing to sell me a cheap queen size bed.

Yeah true...I mean I figured if there is plenty of room for a double bed in there there's gotta be room for a queen...it's only 6 inches wider...If the closets are big enough to put a dresser in them that would be awesome.

did you make this thread just to let us all know you have a queen sized bed?

No...actually I have a day bed right now which is not a queen size bed. I have been given an offer by a family that is friends with my family for one of their queen beds that they don't use anymore. So no, I didn't make this thread for people to know I hae a queen size bed. I would like one though cause...

if a queen ever came by, I would totally have the right size bed for her!!!

Maybe she's indirectly implying she's a queen and she wants to rule the Gorman Street Village with a king.

I'd apply for the job, but I don't think I'd make a good member of the monarchy. Give my pop culture proclivities, every day would include a reference to their being no YMCA for the Gorman Street Village People.

Yep. Too much adderall.

I do work at the YMCA

^^The thing is, they are offering a price for an almost new queen size bed that is cheaper than a brand new double bed.

It's not a bed provided by the leasing company...it's a bed that the people who used to live next door to my family has they they only used for 6 months and then they moved to a much bigger house and upgraded all the beds to king size beds...they offering me a queen size bed cheap...

I just wanna know if I can fit it in the room...don't worry about how I come across one.

I guess I'll have to wait till tomorrow when the property manager will be in the office and e-mail her....so much for instant gratification.

That answers the bed question, not the dresser question.

you can fit a dresser in there. the parking does suck, i often had to park in the street. preiss company sucks no matter where you are. also, i got broken in to when i lived there, so get a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor.

why dont you just go look at the place? they will show you a model room if you ask.

Well I'm not in Raleigh at the moment, so I can't just go look at the place whenever. However, my roommates move in at the beginning of June and my lease starts in August, so I'll have have plenty of opportunity this summer to go see the place. I just needed to know sooner than I could go see it if I could fit this furniture into the room since I have a pretty good deal on a bedroom set right now.

Call the office and ask.
They have the layouts of all those apartments even if they don't publish dimensions normally.
I did that to every place I called in Raleigh last time i moved. They may have to call you back, but they definately know.
