FTD.com.
If it's local you could call Fallons Flowers or Watkins Flowers. They've both been good to me in the past and won't shaft with service fees like FTD. 3/31/2008 7:51:22 PM |

the maven in me makes me tell you to use davenport florist in five points
i usually deliver them to a special someone in raleigh from there and they always go out of their way to make sure everything is exactly right and that they get there and accepted or left with my approval
sweetest old lady who owns/runs the shop too 3/31/2008 8:10:51 PM |

Davenport Florist in 5 points never let me down, when I lived in Raleigh.
She also catered to my anal design-o ideas

Always go local. DO NOT ORDER FROM 1-800 OR ANY OF THE WEB PLACES! The flowers won't last very long. Some of these companies FedEx the flowers as a kit that the recip has to assemble.
Johnson Paschal at Hillsborough and Dixie does a great job. I have ordered several times from them. The person who arranges the flowers often delivers them soon after they are put together.
The small shop on Hillsborough by the bowling alley sucks. I ordered from them once to pick up an arrangement between 5 and 6. Nobody was in the store until 6 (locked), then the lady slapped something together. 3/31/2008 9:20:13 PM |

Well the problem is she once said she really loves having flowers delivered to her, not just being given them. We live down in lillington so I dont think any of the raleigh places would deliver that far, and theres probably not shit down here. 4/1/2008 7:34:21 AM |

I've used FTD.com for my girlfriend for the past few occassions and they've been very accomodating (had to change shipping address last minute) and speedy delivery. 4/1/2008 7:55:35 AM |

There's a place across the street from Mellow Mushroom that I always use called Fallon's Flowers. They have really good prices, good flowers and on Fridays alot of their stuff is 50% off.

there are at least 2 or 3 places in lillington, although i can't attest to their quality. there's jeffrey's on front street, one in the back of the hallmark on main, and it seems like maybe one more. seems like most people i know use jeffrey's though. google map em.
