meh sometimes i miss arena sometimes I dont. 1st season I had a ton of fun and had great teams. then most of them quit and I never had the same caliber teams so it was kind of sucky to go backwards heh.

And yes my 3v3 team in the first season finished 2321 and we got the 310% mount. We had been first in the battlegroup more than once and eclipsed 2500. We also kept the same makeup pretty much the entire season and didnt try and cheese anyone. There were just 3 of us. I was always on my warrior, my one friend was always on his priest, and our other friend either played his mage or pally the whole season depending on the teams who were on.

I guess the one thing that is boring now...I dont really play at all but I have old friends in game who still contact me from time to time to fill in on a team when their warrior cant play for a day or a week or something. so im usually on once a week helping people out. But in 3s i see the same team makeups over and over and over. i know there arent THAT many good combinations but it didnt used to seem like there was just 1 or 2 makeups people ran in 3v3s

2v2 I really like going with a good spriest or SL/SL (I'm a rogue) but currently goin with a disc priest
Rogue/Mage/Priest is pretty sweet in 3v3 but I can't find any talent to play with this season. I'd like to go with frost mage/rogue/spriest or spriest/ua lock/rogue. 3 dps is way fun. rogues suck balls in 5v5 so I pretty much pug it.

in 2v2 the highest I've seen is 1900, about 1750 in 3v3, and 1850 in 5v5 with my cheese team (3 elemental shamen, holy pally, and me) 3x totem of wrath

highest i've been this season is 2187 in 5's (only had about 20 losses so we definitely weren't rating capped). we started a second team that hit 2100 a night or two ago. we'll probably push that one to glad. war/hunter/priest/pal/druid


2's hunt/druid 2200's or so. usually just sell teams at 2100 or 2k for gold.

3's hunt/lock/druid although it's died a bit since patch ... i'd try pal/war/hunt if i knew a good one of each that was free


and arenajunkies.com is an amazing site. should definitely check it out as much as possible if you're planning on competeing

screw SL/SL. I left my arena team because i hated playing it (and respeccing 2x a week for raiding and pvp). but now my team just hit 2k 5's

I played arena a lot more last season hitting a 2k rating with 80% wins (lol lock/druid).

I actually strongly dislike arena now. In fact I'd say the entire thing sucks and I actually find PvE more stimulating (go figure...).

I've never played seriously and I don't think I'd want to. Its very high stress, and very demanding at the higher levels. If you are in to that kind of thing I can imagine it must be amazing.

I basically just help friends hit 1850 now. I play a druid (have since release). The only active team I have is 29-5. We took 3 loses before I finally figured out how to beat hunter/druid teams as war/druid.

I don't get why people don't like SL/SL, I've had more fun with it than any other spec pvp. Too bad there isn't shit for me after I get my dagger next week. Soo expensive.

LoLock and Resto Druid is such a fun 2s but both decent druids that I had decided to up and quit WoW so I've been searching for a new one for the past few months but it is imposable to find one.

A real life friend of my last druid who also plays a druid is full s3 and had offered to run the 20 games or so it would take for 2k but alas, that motherfucker quit too.

Currently on horribly ranked 2v2, 3v3, and 5v5 teams for two reasons: One, I can't find anyone who seriously wants to play and Two, anyone who seriously wants to play laughs at an Enhancement shaman. All my gear is either from battlegrounds or saved up from the past two seasons of being on charity teams.

so I'm 2-10 this week 2v2 @ ~1300 (i hate that warrior.)
and 7-3 with my 3v3 @ 1550~ (thank god for friends that know what they're doing)



I actually encountered a 2v2 team named "AFK FOR EPICS"



and they actually just stood there.


i thought it was funny. What's the math on the length of time to get that to work? A full season 3 set (minus shoulders) with all loses?

i box mage/warrior and warrior/priest (dif warriors) on the same 2s team, i am sitting at 1350-1400. Loosing to 1 guy playing 2 chars means you are awful
