You're the man, Ivan. I didn't think about Murray's. But that's a helluva lot cheaper than new ones.
BTW, I told Steph about the toter...I dunno if she's game for that one! But ya never know. What's the scoop with the tags on it? 4/4/2008 7:59:14 PM |

i'm guessing this is for the accord? too many burnouts on the ebrake? might check pep boys also. a lot of times they'll run a 3 for 4 deal on some off brand and you can get out the door on a brand new set with road hazard for $200-250 or so. i can't promise anything, but i'll pm you another thing that's worked for me off and on too.
as for the toter, it's my understanding it's still legal on the oklahoma tag until it expires (which i need to check when that is, thanks for reminding me). that's what the dude i bought it from assured me after checking with their dmv since we were meeting in the neutral state of tennessee. apparently they consider it okay to be used as a valid tag to the next owner for the time remaining on the plate. makes perfect sense to me, if you pay for a 1 year tag it should be good for that time even if the vehicle sells.
either way, i've got a clear oklahoma title for it and it's fully insured which is all i care about. i'll get an nc tag when that one goes out. no sense in shelling out extra money before i have to. it always amazes me how other states are so much more easy going than nc dmv. it takes an act of congress for them to do anything that might be helpful. 4/4/2008 8:55:53 PM |
