I googled it and I can't find the answer either way, but if I have a whole paragraph that is using the same source from the same page, do I need to cite it after every sentence or can I just wait till the end of the paragraph?
I would've PMed stillfushia but she isn't online, so I turned to you guys!!!

Same paragraph. Or just do it every time and show the prof how much time you put into it. 4/8/2008 8:20:04 PM |

including date for in text? I don't believe so...I usually do it like this:
Quote : | "Responding to speculation by rapper/actor DMX that Barack Obama “ain’t that nigga’s name,” the Democratic presidential hopeful vowed Friday to make a renewed effort to reach out to the nation’s hip-hop population. [usatomorrownews 1] " |
Where usatomorrownews is the first phrase in the citation. This way, your reader can refer to your works cited/bibliography section, find the key word usatomorrownews and look it up themselves. If there was a page number, you include that, but in this case it was a website so you don't have it in there (but I did just because).
However, I'm not entirely sure about the date. In any case, if StillFuschia comes on and corrects me then all you have to do is Find/Replace

I'm pretty sure you're supposed to cite the reference the first instance you use the reference, which holds until a new paragraph or until a new reference is made. 4/8/2008 8:31:57 PM |

I really hope I'm doing it the right way, cause I'm about 65% done with this paper and I don't want to have to go all the way back through cause I fucked it up. 4/8/2008 10:45:17 PM |
