I wonder if test subjects will smoke their own weed in the manner they prefer or if they will be given some procured by the scientists and told to smoke it a specific way. I bet that the government research weed they use in studies like that is crap.

theres a company that does drug studies by the airport that pays between 1000-2000 bucks. You have to stay at the place over night two weekends and get blood taken ever hour.

one of my friends got too take a pill which was pretty much pure THC. She got the highest she had ever been and was payed 1500 bucks.

however one of my friends took a paranoia pill and pretty much had the worst weekend of his life.

Without getting paid there isn't any incentive for people that don't smoke weed to go and do this.

This is one reason there getting paid a lot. Other things to consider might be how long will they have to do this for (days, a few weeks, months). Sounds like they want to show that pot isn't as bad for you as alcohol.
