hes been limping on it since december and its starting to bother me. he limps around all of the time and his ankles along with one finger and a few other areas swell for no reason.

he saw an rheumatologist (sp?) for it, and the guy had no idea what it was and how long it would last

my bro has been active his whole life and it sucks to have to watch

I have had a few times were I do something to my foot in my sleep. My dad says the same thing happened to him, basically it hurts to walk and swells and lasts about two weeks or three if you don't wear good footwear.

yeah he limps 24/7

he got xrays and bloodwork done. the guy has it narrowed down to 3 possibilities, all short term. i really hope its one of those. the drugs he was given to counter it help some, but i dont think they help enough.

There was an episode of discover health where a woman had lots of trouble moving her wrists and they were swollen. She also had shortness of breath and fatigued easily. They diagnosed her with polymyositis, but it was hard for them to catch because the symptoms are so general.

my ankles only move up and down...they don't move left and right

I assumed everyone's ankles were like this, until I started skateboarding and found it impossible to ollie...people were like "bend your ankle like this" and I was like "I fucking can't"
