So allegedly AC6 is a "timed exclusive" for Xbox. There was a blurb in PSM3 that said it was coming to PS3 this year.

My roommate started playing Ace Combat 6 last night. It looked really gay and japanese.

Blazing Angels was entertaing on 360, might be worth checking out on PS3.

I certainly wasn't put together as a simulator, but it's entertaining.

I was actually just reading the reviews for the sequel and it looks like they rectified a lot of the complaints from the first.

i played the demo on the 360 a while back. it was hard to control and see where other planes were at, and looked like it might have a pretty steep learning curve, but i didn't really give it more than 10 minutes or so.

its pretty much the shit, but not many missions (i dont think)
I'm on mission 10 and there are 11 total I believe

I always loved the Ace Combat series, but it's practically the antithesis of flight sim, which a lot of my friends seemed to hate about it for some reason

^^Yeah, I think most people realize fighters don't carry like 92 missiles to be used against all targets but it's fun as shit!

i read about the timed-exclusive thing a while ago too, but haven't heard anything about it since

for PS3, Blazing Angels is about a close to what you're looking for as you're going to get

if you want a flying game that's just 100% pure fun, get warhawk
