How many of you have ever given out your facebook/tww/online banking or whatever password to a bf/gf.

I will never give mine out or ask a gf to give me hers. A few of my friends do this and I think its moronic. Especially the one who got his facebook deleted by his ex after they broke up.

my ex didn't give hers to me. but she used my computer and kept her password saved on there. so the next time i got on to get on mine it went directly to hers. 3 clicks later i learned she was behind my back with some other guy. twas the beginning of the end.

my bf knows one or two of the ones I keep in rotation. I don't think he has any of my banking username/pw combos. He might know my unity pw. Anyways, it's all saved in FF. The master pw list is pw-protected, but he could just use FF and see anything he wanted anyways.

He actually set up the network drive so we could access files on it while not at home, and p/w protected it, and went ahead and put my main password on it for my acct <3

I used to think it was stupid, but man, it's nice to be in a bind somewhere, and be able to call and say 'hey would you please look up [something] for me', and not have to speak my user name and password. I'm not saying that makes it any less stupid, but in my situation, the likelihood of something unpleasant happening as a result of him having my passwords is far outweighed by the benefits

I realize I'm leaving myself open to some risk, but
1) we respect each other's privacy IMMENSELY. Trust is easily the core of our relationship. If I have to use his computer, the first thing I do in FF is log him out of everything without looking at anything.
2) he knows better than to EVER try anything that would screw me over, inconvenience me, or be construed as revenge or bellicose. He's never even been on the receiving end of my wrath, but has seen it directed at others. Every time, he mentions how he never wants to engage me in that manner.

i had a similar situation as jeep did. same thing with the email and her not being entirely logged out so when i went to gmail it loaded up her pw.

anyways we had been hooking up but not "dating" and one day we made plans to meet up for dinner after returning from a trip together and i saw all this stuff while i was at home getting ready. essentially summation of the stuff was that 1. she was seeing some other guy. 2. she was also sweating my good friend. 3. she was just using me for boning and a few good meals and 4. she doesn't even tell her own friends the truth in situations.

i still met her for dinner but was entirely distant. i stopped paying for all her shit and turned it into a situation where i was just fucking her when i was bored and had time. as it often does made her all that more crazy about me and one day she started calling me her boyfriend. i kept up the same attitude and then "broke up" with her after she got me shit for my bday. Also, i found five dollars*


*okay i didn't really find $5 but needed something in there to make the story interesting.

yeah, i typed in jake and read anything where i was mentioned. i actually expected to find some lovey stuff to feel good about. within those emails were also stories about her friends and other such things. after reading i recall thinking that i had never met such a self-focused and two-faced individual. then i realized i probably have but i've never had such an honest and unabated view of anyone until that time i read her emails.
