I don't understand this nonsense. No one is forcing black women to have abortions. No one is telling them to get knocked up by lazy good for nothing bums who run away when the women get pregnant. No one is telling them to start having sex at 15.

Here are the shocking facts which expose the fact that these black people just want to put the blame on others for what they see as the failure of the black race in the US:

1) 1,500 black babies are aborted DAILY
2) ~50% of black teenage girls carry an STI
3) Black women are 4.8 times more likely to have an abortion than white women
4) Black women account for 36 percent of those having abortions in the U.S. today
5) Black children make up 17 percent of live births

I am actually against abortion as I see it as murder. However, one can't help not thinking that perhaps it is better for the nation all these babies are aborted. Since most of them are from poor and/or single-mother households, imagine how much more crime there would be in the US if those abortions did not take place. In fact, I am sure that almost everybody would be happy about this, even if they don't admit it.

Regardless of my last paragraph, I still don't see how and why people think there is some conspiracy here by Planned Parenthood. Even if there is, i.e., even if they target their services at black women, still, no one is forcing these women to have abortions.

The black race in the US is decimating itself by the way it acts.

- No emphasis on learning and doing something with one's life.
- Callling everything "being white", be it education, getting a job, playing anything other than BB, etc.
- Crazed emphasis on playing BB.
- Anti-intellectualness and verbal persecution of blacks who actually try to study in schools (we have all heard of black honor students being booed by black students at HS graduations all over the country).
- Verbal persecution of black leaders who actually criticize their own people and tell them to get their act straight (Bill Cosby).
- Women getting knocked up at an early age.
- Absent fathers.
- Gangs.
- Drugs.
- No role models in most black children's lives.
- Promiscuity.
- Of particular interest to me: HORRIFYING eating habits which have led to a couple to many times higher [than other races] risk of heart disease, diabetes, and other lifestyle diseases.

y = abortions per white chick
frac = percentage of chicks who are black

x = 4.8*y

y/x = 1/4.8
frac = .36*(frac+1/4.8-frac/4.8)

I think this is quite true. Central and South Americans who have to some (legal) extent entered our society have not really been crying out for something. I think there's still some racism out there, as even Asians will point out - but some people you're just not going to change. Most Hispanic Americans who didn't JUST arrive are well... living normal lives.

I don't even really think it's cool to strongly call n-th generation black people in American Africans. We have African immigrants. They're not very similar to black people here. Plus, I don't think there are hardly ANY black people who don't have a mixed heritage.

Their social situation was built out of slavery and then segregation - almost completely disconnected from the fact they're from Africa. The way a group gets here has far more to do with social factors facing them than where they came from.

There actually is a belief among large numbers of the Right to Life movement that believe Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood, was a eugenics proponent particularly when it comes to African Americans. Much of this has been disproven, a distortion or quotes taken out of context, but it's taken on a life of its own on our beloved Internet.

I'm pretty certain economically, they're growing or at least leveled off a bit under Bush, while academically, they're continuing to grow.


That's only michigan, but across the country, barring blatant stupidity in the teaching methods, blacks are doing better as a group.

I think a large part of the problem is that people have the perception that blacks are floundering instead of getting better, which reinforces racism in society against blacks, to keep it harder for them to advance socially. This is because fairly ignorant people form their perception of all blacks by only focusing on the image put forth by people like 50 Cent, when they really should be looking more at Dave Chapelle for someone who more represents the average black person (but you really shouldn't look at anyone to represent anyone else to begin with).

Then there's the people who like to emphasize his middle name, when they don't do it for the other candidates, there's the guy that called him Tiger Woods as opposed to McCain (a comparison that I still don't get), and even Bill Clinton trying to compare him to Jesse Jackson in the eighties.

And hilariously enough (to me) is that Obama isn't even fully black, he's half white, and was raised by his white mother and grandmother.

Well it goes towards what seems to be a consistent and hopeful model of the black experience in the US.

For example we know that

1) Educational Achievement of parents is highly correlated with educational achievement of children

2) Up until the late 50s and early 60s there were legal prohibitions on the education of blacks.


We don't even have to get into a possible role for societal racism or prejudice. We can simply note that it was illegal for blacks in many cases to attend the flagship universities and technical colleges within most states and there were at a minimum legal obstacles involved in black high school education. Whether or not separate was ever equal we don't have to settle but separate certainly was a defining characteristic.

Therefore, we might hopefully speculate that once we ended these legal obstacles there would be a convergence between black and white achievement. Because of the intergenerational factor it might not be immediate.

So if we see the gap closing, this is at least some evidence that such a convergence is taking place. This would seem to be important and compelling.
