sorry to say, i bought this game today and tonight is my first time playing it. i just have a quick question for those familiar with it....does it require a controller pak to save? i have one in and it's not giving me options to save. do you have to go a ways before you can save? sorry the game didn't come with the manual.

you can save like 4 seperate profiles inside the game

thanks, that's what i read somewhere but it's still not giving me an option to save. when i bought the game used i erased the previously saved files. is there a certain point where i can save? i assumed you could save whenever you wanted.

been awhile since I played it, but IIRC it should give you the option when you get a star...

u save after u get the stars lol...have u gone inside the castle yet? the game starts off u getting shot out a tube and u go toward the castle then peach and your mushroom camara man talk to u

Not my favorite game of all time but by far the most fun I've ever had playing a single-player game.

yea, sorry i'm pretty high....i've been in there haha. i was just getting used to the controls and noticed i couldn't save cause i didn't want to have to go through the storyline shit again. guess you mean after you get the 8 stars you can start to save?

lol after get inside the castle go to the room on the very far left and you should be able to jump through the painting and go into the bomb-omb battlefield level. After you beat the first stage of that level you'll get a star and you should be able to save it.
