When I saw Zach Galifinakis in Chapel Hill his last slide was STOP DANE COOK.

It made me laugh, but so does Dane Cook. He's by no means the best comedian ever, but I find him more enjoyable than most of the shit on Comedy Central standup.

I think his first Comedy Central special and the "Retaliation" CD are funny. The claim he stills Louis CK has always been specious to me, although there are some suspicious parallels.

I don't watch a lot of TV so I don't see all these commercials he does that are supposedly horrible. I haven't seen his movies either since popular comedian + movie = shit (exceptions being Pryor, Murphy, and others). So I haven't grown as sick of him as everyone else clearly has.

My friends went to his show in Chicago a while back. They said it was shit because it was the same shit they'd already heard. It's supposed to be the other way around...FIRST the show where people pay $$ to see new shit, THEN the Comedy Central/HBO/etc specials
