on the fans that came with my case, why is there a male and female molex connector? how am i sposed to hook that mother up?

hold the smartass comments please, i already feel like a dumbass asking this but couldn't find it anywhere.

extra female is just in case you actually needed the one you're using to power the fan.

so that means technically i only need to plug that female straight into the male from the psu, right?
^^ so if the fans were close enough together or the wires were long enough i could plug in another fans female into the "extra" male from the first fan thats originally hooked up to the psu?

ok, i understand molex connetions can be confusing since the male pins have a female sleeve, and the female pins have a male sleeve.... but they are designated by pins, not the sleeve.
