^^The bad thing is for some kids that would be the most awful punishment imaginable.
I'm even under the assumption that they have video games in many kiddy prisons too.

That kid needs a good ass beating, and two parents that care about him. I hate that so many kids are going bad because of the lack of care of the parents. That grandmother seems to be doing the best she can, but she's the grandmother, not the mother and the father.
I see too many kids heading down that path that have parents that are drug dealers and just don't give a shit if they have that kid or not, and the grandparents are taking over the responsiblities.

after his grandmother was kind enough to adopt him

because of one of 3 things

1) his parents are in prison
2) his parents didnt want him
3) the state took him from his parents

and he does her like that.
