So, Food Lion is running this deal with Old El Paso taco combinations where you basically get 12 shells and the seasoning for next to nothing.

The outside of the Old El Paso boxes have a coupon to get a free Old El Paso product free(up to $1.01) when you buy another Old El Paso product. Well, the cashiers are retards and end up taking the whole price of the tacos off.

Last night the food lion I visited sold me the 6 soft/6 hard kit(1.79) and the seasoning (.79) for .52 The tacos were on sale for 1.00 rather than 1.79 and the seasoning was also on sale for .50. The cashier rang them up, took off the coupon, then took off 1.79 and bam..moron.

We went back to snatch some more and used a different cashier, she rang us out correctly but we still got an entire kit for only .91.

I go again today, choose a young looking amateur cashier and she takes off the full 1.79 again. So I just end up paying for the seasoning. Grab em while you can, even with the correct method of billing it's still a steal. A kit for $1.00 is less than half of the price a normal kit is on sale.

pretty easy, just brown the meat, drain grease, add water + seasoning, stir, simmer

takes 15min tops

they sell "kits" which include the seasoning and shells, this deal requires you buy 2 products, both separate, but it ends up being like 60% cheaper than the kits
